Twelve years of cakes built around the people who order them.

Marion's Cakes began with a single wedding order in a Windhoek kitchen — a sponge layered with care, finished with what was available, delivered with quiet pride. Word travelled. The kitchen grew. The technique sharpened.

Today our atelier is a studio where every commission begins with a conversation: the occasion, the people, the moment we're trying to mark. The cake follows. It always does.

The Atelier Process

Every commission moves through four considered stages. Your part is in the first one. The rest is craft.

The Conversation

WhatsApp, call or visit. We learn the occasion, the guest count, the palette and the dietary lines. The cake starts here.

The Design

A sketch and a quote come back to you within 48 hours. We refine until the cake on paper is the cake in your head.

The Build

Sponges baked the day before. Fillings whipped fresh. Detailing — gold leaf, sugar florals, hand-piping — applied the morning of.

The Delivery

Set up at the venue or collected from our atelier. Climate-stable boxing for tiered cakes. Photographs on request.
